Shiver of Anticipation
Silhouettes and sideways glances
Lighted by the moon
Welcoming overt advances
Whispered promises of soon
Kisses trailed teasingly
This the way we do profess
Melting away mysteries
With each carefully placed caress
Tonight we lay together
Beneath the naked moon
We touch, taste and discover
Until all is removed.
We need time to recover
Before we have begun
A sign – more than a lover
